First Consultation for new clients
I specialize in working with older people who are coming back to their bodies. My job is to create a custom program for you that will strengthen, stretch, and align your body safely.
During our first consultation, we spend time gathering information on your body’s history – athletics, movement background, injuries, pains or tightness, anything relevant to the body. We’ll do a physical assessment, postural overview, and flexibility test. Then we’ll talk about options for a custom program of corrective stretching, core training, resistance work and balance, and cardio exercise that will work for your specific body.
To arrange a first consultation, please contact me.
Please visit the personal training page for more information on session rates and locations.

Yes, involving dumbells… Resistance training using the body in space is a great way to strengthen both the targeted muscles and the postural muscles of the trunk.
Become an X, face down, balanced on the toes & hands, arms are straight & you are a plank. Holding a dumbell under each palm (& without rolling the hips or hiking up the butt), proceed to do 1-arm rows, alternating arms. For more fun, add a push-up between each row. This will work your upper back muscles, and has the extra benefit of being a super “core” stabilization exercise.
